My father owns a Guarnerium violin inscribed Fecit Cremonae 1737 in the original wooden box. Bought from Dugans in Ireland 175 years ago.
Please advise value.

: My Mother has a Guarnerius violin with an inscription on the inside" tofeph Guarnerins filius Andreae Cremonae fub titulo S. Therefiae 1711." The first letter appears to be a backwards j not a "t". We are researching this violin due to it's excellent condition. Any information wwould be of assistance.
