I too have a copy, or just a violin with those markings. It has been in the family for years. The anno is 1716. I took it in, and the guy there told me its very well possible that it's worth nearly 15,000 dollars. he was pretty up beat about it too. I'm not sure if its a copy, or not. I'm curious to know more about it.
