: : I have a set of lithographs by Guarnieri.
: : I got them in 1968 at the art dept of J.L Hudson Co. in Detroit( now Marshall Fields)
: : I am looking too. They are a set called
: : "FIRENZE 4 Novembre 1966"
: : about a flood in Florence in that year. That may give you an idea of how old they are anyway.

: : : Recently I found two paintings that appear to be water color impressionist landscape of some city that I cannot identify. They both are of dark colors (grey to black, mostly) and are signed by what appears to be Luciano Guarnieri. The first name is not very clear. There is an accent above the 'a' in the first name and above the 'e' in the last name. I don't believe that they are originals, but I do think that they are original lithographs. If anyone can give me some information regarding these paintings, please e-mail me.

: : : Thank you,

: : : kjbell

: I purchased a lithograph of Luciano Guarnieri's this summer while in Florence, and am looking for another to buy for my son. Are either of these available purchase?

I have five of the same lithos that you are talking about. The description in a sheet that came with them says that they are reproductions of the original 575 lithos that were donated to the families on Florence Italy of a major disaster.
